Mannington Recreation has made several improvements in the recent years.

   A newly developed Joel McCann Memorial Trail which runs through the heart of Mannington, offers amazing scenery to those who utilize it. The Trail itself offers views of the George Bowers Estate, Historic Train Depot and numerous Historic houses. The Trail is dog friendly and welcomes walkers and bicyclist of all ages.

Hough Park offers swimming, pavillion rentals, community building, baseball/football fields, and playground equipment. The in addition to numerous family reunions, and various private picnics the park is also home to the Mannington Fair held in Aug as well as the Annual Labor Day Picnic held in Sept.
